Fingersave Goalkeeper Gloves

Fingersave goalkeeper gloves with finger protection. Featuring easily removable spines on the fingers, our finger safe goalie gloves are designed to help prevent hyper-extension that may occur during the game.

Our collection features a wide range of designs to choose from, including juniors’ fingersave goalie gloves. Alongside fingersave goalkeeper gloves, you can find a selection of additional gloves to explore in our collection including roll finger and negative cut goalkeeper gloves.

Finger spines also help provide that little extra impact protection for those lacking confidence to punch and clear the ball. And even if you're not a finger spine fan? No problem! Simply lift up the hidden easy-access pouch and whip them out. The beauty of our gloves is that absolutely every single model in our fingersave collection, has removable spines.

Do you need finger protection for goalkeeper gloves?

It's not essential, and longer term using no spines will develop better and more natural technique. But if you're still unsure, then step right up to our handy guides to help make that decision for you. Our "Should I wear finger-save spines?" guide and "How to remove spines" are essential reading for anyone making the jump.

Do professional goalies use finger saves?

Some, but not many. The beauty of gloves is that there is no one-size-fits-all, goalkeeping is all about preference and what works for you. On our roster of 80+ keepers, there is probably 2 or 3 that use finger saves.

How do goalkeepers not hurt their hands?

The answer here unfortunately is not "with fingersaves or protection". Finger protection is great for the areas we have already discussed (hyper-extension, existing finger injury, extra padding) but what will really help is developing proper technique.

That means both your catching as well as how you land/fall, this will naturally improve over time. You can also tape your fingers and wrists with or without finger protection which is what a lot of professionals will opt for.
